Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1

How much does a full bathroom installation cost in Coventry?

Accepted Answer

A full bathroom installation in Coventry typically costs between £4,500 and £12,000 depending on the size of the room, the quality of fixtures chosen, and whether any structural work such as moving plumbing or walls is required. A standard mid-range bathroom refurbishment including labour, tiling, plumbing and a new suite usually falls between £5,000 and £8,000. We provide free, no-obligation quotes tailored to your specific project.

Question 2

How much does bathroom tiling cost?

Accepted Answer

Bathroom tiling in the West Midlands typically costs £30–£60 per square metre for labour, depending on tile size, pattern complexity and surface preparation required. Wall tiling for a standard bathroom (around 20–25m²) usually costs £600–£1,500 in labour. We supply and fit tiles or can work with tiles you have already purchased.

Question 3

How much does a wet room conversion cost?

Accepted Answer

Wet room conversions in Coventry and the West Midlands typically cost between £4,000 and £9,000. The price depends on the size of the space, the waterproofing system required, drainage specification, and the tiles chosen. Wet rooms require specialist tanking (waterproofing) which adds cost compared to a standard shower enclosure, but they are highly durable and add significant value to a property.

Question 4

How much does an en-suite bathroom cost?

Accepted Answer

En-suite bathrooms in the West Midlands typically cost between £3,500 and £8,000 depending on size and specification. Compact en-suites with a shower, WC and basin can be completed for £3,500–£5,000. Larger en-suites with premium fixtures, underfloor heating and bespoke tiling can reach £8,000–£12,000. We offer free design consultations to help you plan within your budget.

Question 5

Do you offer payment plans or staged payments?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We typically work on a staged payment structure: a deposit to secure your installation date and order materials, a mid-project payment when first fix is complete, and a final balance on completion. We are happy to discuss payment schedules that work for you. Please ask when requesting your quote.

Question 6

How long does a bathroom installation take?

Accepted Answer

A standard full bathroom installation typically takes 5–10 working days from start to finish. This includes stripping out the old bathroom, first fix plumbing, boarding and waterproofing, tiling, second fix plumbing and fitting of all sanitaryware and accessories. Larger bathrooms, wet rooms or projects with complex tiling patterns may take longer. We will give you a clear timeline before work begins.

Question 7

What is the process for getting a new bathroom with Wright Bathrooms?

Accepted Answer

Our process has four simple steps: 1) Free consultation — we visit your home, take measurements and discuss your ideas and budget. 2) Design and quote — we produce a detailed design and itemised quote at no charge. 3) Installation — our team handles everything from strip-out to final fit, keeping disruption to a minimum. 4) Aftercare — we carry out a final walkthrough with you and address any snagging before we consider the job complete.

Question 8

Do you supply the bathroom furniture and fixtures, or do I buy them myself?

Accepted Answer

We can do either. Most customers choose to let us supply everything — we have trade accounts with leading bathroom brands and can often source products at better prices than retail. Alternatively, if you have already purchased fixtures or have specific products in mind, we are happy to fit them. We will advise on any compatibility or quality concerns before work begins.

Question 9

Will I be without a bathroom during the installation?

Accepted Answer

For a full bathroom replacement, you will typically be without a functioning bathroom for 2–4 days during the main strip-out and first fix phase. We plan the work carefully to minimise this period and will always discuss the schedule with you in advance. If you have a second bathroom or en-suite, we can often sequence the work to ensure you always have access to at least one facility.

Question 10

Do you offer a guarantee on your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We provide a workmanship guarantee on all installations. The duration depends on the scope of work — please ask for details when we provide your quote. All products we supply also carry the manufacturer's warranty. We are fully insured with public liability cover and stand behind the quality of every project we complete.

Question 11

Accepted Answer

For most of our service area — including Birmingham, Warwick, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Rugby and Stratford-upon-Avon — there is no additional travel charge. For locations further afield, we may include a small travel allowance in the quote. We will always be transparent about any additional costs before you commit.

Question 14

What bathroom styles do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We offer six main collections to suit every taste: Classic (traditional and period-inspired), Contemporary (modern and sleek), Spa (luxury relaxation-focused), Compact (clever space-saving designs), Industrial (urban dark-toned aesthetics) and Minimalist (clean, clutter-free lines). We can also create bespoke designs that blend elements from different styles. Browse our collections at wrightbathrooms.co.uk/bathroom-collections.

Question 15

Can you design a bathroom for a small space?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Small bathroom design is one of our specialities. Our Compact Collection is specifically designed for smaller spaces and includes space-saving sanitaryware, clever storage solutions and layout tricks that make a small bathroom feel much larger. We have transformed many compact bathrooms in Coventry terraced houses and apartments into highly functional, stylish spaces.

Question 16

Is the design consultation really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, completely free and with no obligation. One of our designers will visit your home, take measurements, discuss your ideas and budget, and provide a detailed design concept and itemised quote — all at no cost. We believe you should be able to see exactly what you are getting and what it will cost before making any commitment.
